This is my take on an Arjleplog inspired Carving axe
A really forward axe, with a tucked in heel to the blade for detail work. Although this is a forward axe I’ve kept a lot of weight in the cheeks and neck of the axe to offer a really nice balance.
This axe head works great with either a standard straight-ish handle, or can excel for slicy forward cuts with be a heavily recurved/swept back handle.
