Forged splitting froe,
Available in either a straight blade or a slightly curved blade for easier split starting.
Designed to be an allrounder for splitting up billets and other greenwoodworking tasks.
Features a forged ‘almond’ profile so there is no abrupt stops where a bevel might end. Allows for a smoother more controllable split.
Shallow tapered eye helps lock the handle in better so it doesn’t rattle whilst the Froe is in use, but is still removable if needed.
Hardened splitting edge with soft spine for striking.
