Forged with a shallow taper over the full length to easily start splitting in even the toughest woods. If multiple wedges are used together Allows for more controlled/directional splitting in crooks etc..
Complements larger store bought splitting wedges and wider wooden gluts that can be used after the split has started.

these are not ground to a complete edge there is a tiny bit of material left at the edge this doesn’t affect splitting and stops the edge from most deformation
